Alarm Siren: reliable burglary protection
The Loxone Alarm Siren helps smart homes and businesses put up a strong defense. With flashing LED lights and a high-pitched alarm tone, it creates the best chance of scaring off potential burglars. It’s a must-have addition for security that offers all-around protection in smart homes, commercial premises and custom applications.
Phases of defense
Activate alarm
The alarm system is activated with the ‘House Off’ function activated via a switch or via the app. Simple and secure.
Phase 1: Silent Alarm
If your home detects a potential intruder, you will be informed straight away via a push notification on your smartphone.
Phase 2: Audible alarm
The alarm siren starts to sound at full volume to attract the attention of passersby. The alarm tone will also sound on all the multiroom audio speakers. At the same time, you can opt to receive a phone call to alert you to the potential trouble.
Phase 3: Visual alarm
At this stage, the LEDs in the Alarm Siren will begin to flash. In addition, the shading will open to make the home transparent. Along with conspicuous flashing lights inside the home, this is sure to draw attention from passersby to any unwanted guests (if they haven’t already headed for the hills).
Alarm off
Be aware if your alarm is turned off in the Loxone App. You can turn it on or off as you please.
Four safety features
Bright flashing light
In the event that the burglar alarm is triggered, three strong LEDs begin to flash at maximum brightness. The high quality of these LEDs ensures they are still reliable for years to come.
Loud alarm tone
Any intruder will know straight away that they’ve picked the wrong home to target thanks to a loud alarm tone. It’s piercing enough to have opportunistic thieves thinking twice and heading for the hills.
Tamper sensors
If someone dares to try tamper with your Alarm Siren, a loud siren tone will be immediately triggered. You will also receive a notification on your smartphone.
Protection
When installed correctly, the IP44 enclosure is both splashproof and protected against condensation.
